temporary solution to running d2 w/o cd

you need your original lod cd, 630 mb of space on your HD, and clonecd and daemon tools

step 1:
get clonecd and daemon tools, install etc. if you have them already skip to step 2.
http://www.slysoft.com/download/SetupCloneCD.exe
http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/port...Download&id=34

step 2: put in your d2 lod cd and run clonecd.

step 3: press read image file.

step 4: select your drive where you have your d2 disk

step 5: now it asks what type of disk it is, select protected pc game. it'll start to make the img file

step 6: after it's done, use daemon tools to mount the img file

you're done, have fun.

theres tons of ways of doing it, if you do this, you get around 600 mb cd image.

I forgot the extension name.. but one of it gives me only 150 mb mucho better
