Problem with D2Stats Editor...

Hey,

I was considering putting this thread in the newbie section, because I'm sure the answer is simple, but because it deals with an editor, I figured I'd get the most help in this section.

So, on the 'Editors' section of the Diablo Space website, (http://www.mewgood.com/editor.shtml) the first listed editor that you can download is the D2statseditor. I've downloaded and unzipped all the files, and the program itself loads and runs perfectly, but when I click on any of my characters to access the char. information, a window pops up that says:

"This program does NOT work with Non Expansion characters"

Ok, that's fine... problem is, all my characters ARE expansion characters. Any idea of how to get around this problem? I've tried saving a character in Diablo 2 (non expansion) just to see what the D2statseditor program would say, and surprise, surprise, i get the same message.

I'm sure there's an easy explanation as to how to fix this problem, but i can't seem to find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, I noticed that hacking sticky after I made the thread, but I downloaded the D2statseditor from there, and it still seems to think that my expansion characters are really NON expansion characters..

Not sure what's going on there..

I'm trying out this Hero Editor thingy, I'll see if that works..

yea i was just messing around w/ it a few mins ago, time consuming making the items, but i made a hybrid sorc, instant killer w/ anything; had crazy psndamage and -psn enemy defence...

but it worked fine for me
