Common Skills

This idea is to make some minor "skills" to be universally available, just not as powerful when used by different people. For example, we could have a charge skill which would be based off strength (for damage) and dex (chance to hit). Centaurs (if existant) would not need a mount to execute this attack, but it would cost stamina. Other races WOULD require a mount, or could charge while on top of a centaur (and both of them have a chance to hit and deal charge damage, but the chance to hit is based off the centaur's dex.

Just an idea.

Any other "common skills" ideas, please post.

Put it back to D1. All the skills (- a few) could be used on all the charcters. Keep the books from it, but then add the class specific skills. Change the caster up to where they have a array of skills that arn't Ice/Lightning/Fire. Give them like Earth Air and Mind or something.

That would make the game more fun...I mean, who doesn't like the idea of everyone haveing a res spell at their fingertips?

Aye. I also believe that a bunch of spell-like skills should be available in scroll form, instead of just tp and identify. I mean who really uses the identify scrolls?

I also believe that identify itself should be a universal skill.

And yes, Garbonzo, the centaur idea was yours. I still like it >_>
