Solid Plot Idea

[Too High To Die]

I just signed up for this board out of my love for the Diablo series despite it's flaws of cheating, dupeing, and botting.
While browsing old posts it occured to me that you are all thinking of the story line on the wrong level.
While you all are trying to decipher what should come "next" in the story line perhaps there wont be a "next" but rather a "before."

Weather this has dawned on you before or it has been discussed I do not know.
Why not start the plot before the events of Diablo 1?
Or perhaps in a different area at the same time? This could open up a world of new possiblitys and story lines.

Any ideas or comments about this?

The idea has been discussed. Not much that i have seen. I think that everyone wants to know what happens next cause if you u look through different things on the web you can find out what happened before. It kinda sucks in my opinion to play something when i already know most of what happened. That is just my opinion though. That is all i have to say for now.

how about a map like sacred had? that would be nice. then you would have more choices what to do next.
