What the hell? This is a Diablo 3 forum. Are you talking about WoW guilds? And if you've never played it, why do you even care?

Unless hes talking about Diablo guilds and used WoW as a guide...

If your talking about Diablo Guilds, I think there was a primative system in D2 but the most you can get in game is 8 people (If i remember right)

Guilds in Diablo were kind of useless anyhow, the PvP in D2 was primative and unbalanced at best and the sheer lack of numbers allowed in a game at once wouldnt warrant it. AS for Diablo 3 (should it ever come out *knock on wood*) The simplest answer is that, thats an unknown.

Should it be announced we still wont know the maximum allowed online at once or even the gameplay style.

I hope that answered ypour question

yea.. well i was using wow as an example.. and i think diablo 3 will be alot more like WOW, as in it will be an MMORPG. Honestly that is were teh money is at and thats what they want todo, make money. i think D3 will come out for sure, with a new play style, not 8 in a game, but one huge world. my 2 cents.

Firstly A LOT is two words (god, I'm bitchy) and secondly why do you think that D3 will be a morgue? Blizzard don't just make games to make money, you know? Also, how do you know that that is what they want to do? And about those 2 cents..which currency are we talking about? Zimbabwean? I think people should stop saying rubbish about how it will be or even what it "probably" will be like or "might" be like because there are so many possibilities no one knows for sure. 1 think is almost for sure - it WON'T be an MMORPG. (I just totally contradicted myself then ^_^)
