| Should D3 be based on the D2 storyline?
I'm just wondering what you guys think, becuase I've been playing this game for year and I want to know if you think Blizzard should stick to a D2 into a D3 storyline or completely start a new one. |

| I mean yea it would be nice to see Blizzard come up with something based on the D2 storyline. I'd much rather see them do something that kind of goes away from it. A new storyline could change everything, if you base a series of stories from D2 and add it into D3 you can kind of guess what will happen because we all have seen the cinematics and read up on the whole story, so its nothing new. What I would like to see, and if you read the D2 book it tells a story of earlier heroes like Isenhart, Sigon, and etc... If Blizzard brought them back I would love to see what they could do with that if they are basing D3 on the D2 storyline. | |

| Why would they change what it's based on? It only makes sense to make it an extension of the Diablo II storyline.

| what else would you call it then? It's called Diablo 3 because they are adding different things. Why would you call it Diablo 3 if you are gunna keep original material from the second one? And I'm not saying it is going to be exactly based on D2, I'm pretty sure that if Blizzard makes D3 they are going to use some part of the D2 storyline to create a new series. | |

| Possibly even a prequel would be fun..but I guess everyone is anxious to see what happens next. I think it should be based off D2. Maybe it should be 3 acts prequel, 4 sequel  All in one game so it kinda skips the D1 and D2 storyline..hmm..just a thought

I want them to have new bosses, but they cant call it diablo 3
if they not have diablo in the game^^
But i readed a interwiew there they said: this time we are in heaven...
So i belive it will be the same sstory but on another place...

Why do you think that?
I bet D3 will be unpopular if they make it like World of Warcraft, really!
And if they start take monthly charges, oh boy! Almost noone will play D3.
And there is not really an reason to make it like WoW! D2 and WoW, It's two different games you know... so why would they change D3 into a game like WoW? it makes no sense at all to me. | |
