the alchemist

what kinda merc would an alchemist be? here are some of the potions that are in the game but are never used because of there low damage.

strangling gas potion - 24 posion damage - area of effect in yards?
chocking gas potion - 72 posion damage - area of effect in yards?
rancid gas potion - 96 posion damage - area of effect in yards?
fulminating potion - 5-15 physical damage - area of effect in yards?
exploding potion - 16-30 physical damage - area of effect in yards?
oil potion - 26-64 physical damage - area of effect in yards?

an alchemist could make them more potent. here is my idea of an alchemist merc.

general skills: double throw(potions only)/grim ward

radius and duration increase according to level of alchemist.

norm/hell
fire: napalm potion (like the immoltion arrow but with a larger radius)
physical: blast potion (like static reduces enemy hit points by a xx%)

nightmare
light: fog potion (reduces all enemys visibility down to 1 yd)
poison: rancid gas potion (poison effect like plague jav)

str: low
dex: high
life: ave

Well they werent exactely wizards.... they were "scientists" of the darkage trying to get the secrets of eternal life and how to make gold... let us say they made potions and gizzmos to trie and reach their target...
Wizards are different, they used magic to get what they whant alchemists used matireal things like metal, stone, wood and studied animals and stuff like that no magic involced (as far as I know)

Interesting, very good but I dont get the Norm/Hell category. Why are those potions under the same heading?

Still, a very good idea, the throwing potions are so rarely used and your idea really makes them more interesting! Youve thought out of the box. Well done, keep up the good work!
