diablo 3 storyline

After I got exp and beat baal, i always thought the storyline would be that after the worldstone was destryoed, the 3 prime evils would come back. Lol, Tyrael did say that he did not know wat could happen if he destroys it so there might be some gateway that opens up and they come back with a ton of monsters for you to beat and u have to kill them for one last time.

Anyone think i might be right if they do make d3 anytime soon? :corn

Personally, I think Tyreal is still trapped wherever he was, and it's been Baal all along, but thats just me. The gates are supposed to be opened now that the worldstone is shattered, so maybe Baal is on his way to reclaim his throne of hell from Azmadan and Balial.

Thank you for that ^^^^^^. mephisto is out of the picture since his soul stone was destroyed. diablo and baal can still come back though, and the worldstone has been destroyed so there will be complete chaos. and not to mention the two other prime evils still in hell. people say that diablo 3 will not come out because there is no storyline that they can come up with. that isnt true at all. diablo 3 would have a way bigger storyline than diablo 2.
