Energy Shield and Telekenesis in 1.11 .. Nulled?

Hey everyone, quick question.

I play 1.11 HCL, and I have 6 pts into energy shield, 12 pts into telekenesis, and about 1.2k mana with the stuff I have. Should i keep beefing energy shield, and get the 16 points into telekensis?

(my main attack is orb, got orb and warmth maxed with 5 into ice bolt and cold mastery)

Ive noticed that in hell, i get hit by a quill rat's spike and half my health is gone.

shouldnt my mana be draining, and not my health??? I know its only level 6 but its supposidly absorbing 55% dmg and telekenesis reduces the amount of mana thats taken. Except i still lose ****loads of life and i dont have that many.

Also, in hell my resists are

75
75

and my defense is 3,000.

I think energy shield and telek are nulled in 1.11, or maybe i just need more points into ES. can anyone explain?

quill rats do elemental damage(poison) i think,so that may be why,try getting hit by a fallen and see if ur life still goes down as much

yeah my life goes down just as much and my mana is barely touched
... i might make a new orber, max the synergies and whatnot and pump vita bc this is just pissing me off. My mana barely went down when the fallen hit me.

trust me its far from nulled. get your es% up thats why. i use 95% and it works extremely well

u must be a weak sorc to be an orber and not have much into cold mastery...

but maxed warmth, that sounds fun ^ ^

70/15 is a small charm with 70 mana and 15 life... and I belive its duped as hell...

hey i have only invested one point into telekenisis for my sorc so far but i am damn sure i need more (i am a light sorc btw). i am lvl 80 with about 20 skill points left....

what is the least points any of you have ever invested into telekenisis to actually have it give true benefits to MS? i have very little mana (concentrating on life...plus i have a few hundred stats left to assign ^_^ ) so that means it doesnt take more than a few hits in hell to need to use a mana pot.
