Yo guys i recently relocated form us east to us west to test my skills against the world's greatest footies players. Turns out, after just one month, I'm the best player on west (beaten Windaleblizard, footys, imsh, sexicano, mitballer, flyingmonkey). I was promoted to a shaman spot in clan FoDs, a clan off 80+ footies players, and I thought I'd help show battleofrums what footies is all about. I know a lot of peoplethink its imba and not worth playing, but I've been consistently winning for a reason. If ur a good footies player, come to clan fods on west and ill try u out. and if ur just looking to learn how to dominate in foots, whisper me on D.o.C_saVage

All you need to do to be the Footies pro is to gain the advantage as early as possible. If you don't, then you are as good as dead.

thats a good general philosophy but not necessarily true. comebacks are rare, but this is how I usually respond to a losing situation:

forget about my gold and just stock up on potions. i basically become a hit and run machine, as i can sacrifice gold for experience. for example, with tinker (true story), say I'm level 8 and alone, against 2 teams of 2, one of which has knights and the other has tauren (and lvl 18 heros). I only have militia. I'll keep my units in my base and instead go out alone with my hero. I lay down a pocket factory, allow 3 little goblins to appear, and then attack a tauren. As they all follow me, I stun them, let the goblins explode, and lay a 2nd factory. Once this operation is finished, ill have about 12 tauren to half hp. I repeated this as many times necessary (potions were often used), until i reached lvl 18, and for the first time, i finally started saving my gold. I won the game.

Another way to turn around games is one well placed ultimate, or 2 cannon towers, which can take out entire armies and give u enough gold to turn things around.

The only comeback game I remember was I was being pounded by Aboms and Dryads and all I had was knights. Although my upgrades were more superior than theirs, thier Edge was giving me problems.

I had Avalanche and a Kotg on my team. I managed to get back into the game after my Kotg got to 18 and I had level 6 Roots/Ents.

And the only reason you got away with that is because Tinker > creeps at high level. 0.4 second cooldown Goblins with a 220 explosion can be one reason lol.

I am a frequint foty player and i beleive with the fire lord and the night elf teir it is almost impossible to lose if you kan mannage to upgrade you range enogh because4 of the vocano stunning it gives a chance for your archers to take out everything!

Not if the player is smart and techs grunts or melee proportional to your archers and goes straight for your archers.

Two ways to play it: Either hero it, or unit it. There is no in between.

even if somone techs grunts the firelord uses volcano and stunns every one before they get to the arches!!!!!

Yes, but any stun > firelord. The only thing that keeps Firelord alive is his elementals. Incinerate doesn't really do much late game.

I have won 2v3v3v3s against AM and FLs before, it is easy once you know how each hero works.

The person that made this thread is an idiot. He is not even close to the best, he is simply just very cocky.

Not only does he play a rip off version that contains cheats in it. It's also extremely imbalanced. I have no problem beating him in any version though.
