| N64 Classics: Dddy Kong Racing In my quest for old Nintendo games, came accross none other than Diddy Kong Racing. I don't know why, but I felt this game was one of the highlights of the N64 era. One of the few games Rare made for N64. I love ths game. The races were reminicent of Mario kart 64, though with less weapons and owerups. I would say the game wass fun and challenging. Nt to mention Conkers first appearance in a game.
The multiplayer was incedibly fun with 4 friends. Not the gretest game ever, but I ahve dbbed this a N64 Classic.

| Eh. Everyone seems to think its a rip off of mario kart. Cept in airplanes. Which it is, but they did it so much better. And besides, it introduced one of the greatest gaming characters of all time, Conker.
I totally dug this game, and would play it for hours. I still hook it up every now and then and just chill on it, it's addicting. |

| I used to always use Banjo-Kazzoie, I think that game was the best for 64.

| I must say i have never played this game but i have played enought mario cart 64 to know that even a rip off of it could be great and if Rare made it well the game is awsome then.

| I only like some races in that. Like Hot Top Volcano on Hovercraft (fun) and the Space courses. |

| Wow this game was challenging to beat. Never have I cursed, screamed and vented about a game until this. I found drifting to be weird, and if you miss a turn, it's REALLY stiff to make that turn, unlike Mario Kart. In the battle modes... well MK64 was better. Every time I think about the Silver Coin Challenges, I shudder... I did beat Adventure 1, but when they said I had to beat it AGAIN, I just gave up. If anyone has beaten both adventures, can you tell me if anything special happens when you beat adventure 2? I just recently played War Pig (is that his name?) and I got smeared. I remembered him as a piece of cake in my old days however... |

| See, this is one of those games I spend hour countlessly doing absolutely nothing on. I hated racing, though I usually won anyway...but I could spend hours upon hours just floating around or stuff in various vehicles. |

Some of the coins you may need to take detours off road. Wizpig is easy the first time, run over all 6 zippers and don't let him trample you. |

| Ya, I'd spend time just flying around the island exploring. I think I hated the Hovercrafts the most. The space levels were the most challenging becuase there were doors that would open and close (right?) and that kind of thru you off - you had to time it right. I completed that game, and boy, you'd be surprised how hard Mirror Match is when you get used to tracks going a certain way...
Fav levels would have to be either the one where you drove around this little town thru a haunted forest swamp place and over a big bridge - really mystical, and one of the first space levels, I think, maybe THE first space level in that series, weren't there asteroids that'd crash down on your path or something?

| The only real challenge about that game is beating TT's times. You really needed to take those close-in turns and such. Even with a slow driver like say Tip-Tup. Then when you get him he sorta sucks, cause his handling is bad. But his speed and acceleration > all. I use him mostly in Hovercraft races. Hovercraft has best handling and heavier characters aren't thrown around a lot especially in wavy areas (Whale Bay, Hot Top Volcano). |

| Dude, I can't remember how LONG it took me to find Dragon Forest. I also remember racing a giant elephant that rode a carpet. And I oddly remember a level called Greenwich Village. |

| That was it! Greenwich Village! My fav level. Ya, the Elephant was like the care taker of the island and summoned the racers there.
