| It's very hard to revive a great game in a new graphics format without killing it in some way. I say you leave it the way it was, great and glorious.
NOTE: I also thought the PSX version did not improve, in the slightest, and, in fact, degraded from the SNES version.

kinda cool to see frog cutting the mtn in half in better graphics...

| Uhm, that projects been dead for a longass time. Sucks, but it wouldn't have been good anyway. Remakes are always shittier. |

| Not so, Resident Evil Remake was much better then the original. But, I too agree that it should be kept in it's original state. Dragonball Z-ish? Well you realize the animated sequences in the PSX version were done by Akira Toriyama(creator of DBZ), and the characters from the start kinda had that look back in the day.

| It does look like a graphically good game, but I'm not sure how much longer the story can be dragged on for. |

| That would have looked cool, but I am not sure how difficult it would be to make spell animations and voices and such. |

| Resident evil was born in 3d grapics, so the upate just improved those. I ae 2-d games that have been put in as a 3D. It is stupid, 3d games 9 times out of 10 look gay.

| That actually depends on the impact the game was made. If they throw in things like corny characters and ****ed up voices, then you got yourself a problem.
For example, look at the transition between Trigger to Cross.
They graphics were ok, untill they made you pick between 41 other characters and threw in a silly elemental spell system. |

| The spells that were worked on looked pretty neat if you go to their site and check their video of it, it shows Crono doing some sword technique, or atleast powering up for one.

| Well, I would only appreciate this if it was glorious. Despite the crappy snes quality, the sprites and the maps were so eligantly done, it just looks gorgeous in it's own little way. It would have been cool to just check it out, but I would rather leave it the way it was.
(damnit square, that was kinda rude to shut down the project though)
