Thinking about getting a DS

All I want to know is its NES ROM capabilities. Can it play ROMs, and if so, do you need to buy something extra for it, get special ROMs somehow, how do you get them off your computer, and anything else I'd need to know. Being able to play Shadowgate on it is all I'd need to buy the Nintendo DS, especially with Sonic Rush coming out for it.

It requires a $50 add-on that is, currently, not available in the US (to my knowledge). It uses CF cards (if I recall correctly) to hold movies, MP3s, and Emulator/ROMs. The CF cards can, of course, be directly hooked up to your computer using a memory card reader for Compact Flash.

There are a multitude of games I'm looking forward to. There's Kirby, Castlevania, Mario Kart, Advance Wards, and many, many more. There's also a Xenosaga game coming as well as two Final Fantasy games.
