| I was gonna post this but decided not to since there has been no real news released. I'll probably buy it though, even if I am looking forward to DMC 4 more. |

| It won't be out till maybe late 2006 but likely 2007. It is expected to be showcased at E3 next year.
I was hoping for a new MGS, but if they remove the stealth i say **** Konami. "no wehre to hide" doesnt sound good. They best not ruin another calssic like capcom and Residetn evil. |

| Stealth is part of MGS, you cant just run into everything on the higher difficultys. And from what I was reading, "nowhere to hide" doesn't exactly mean there will be no stealth. What is meant by that is dynamic environments. For example, lets say you were hiding behind a truck, well what would happen if a guard came and drove the truck away? You'd have to follow it trying to hide or find a different place to hide fast making a more realistic environment. |

| MGS4 is going to be for the PS#.
However Kojami or whatever his name is said he was disapointed in the PS3, and there will likely be ports to other consols, OR He plans on producing a seperate/new game for Revolution based on the control and new gameplay |

I'm not too excited about this game, as I thought all the other MGS games were overrated. Storyline is exaggerated, in the terms of me comparing it to Mario. But I hope they add some radical changes. |

I've been impressed with all of the MGS games.. even though MGS2 had some corny moments and a weak main character (Raiden). And I'm not very interested in MGS3.. storywise.

About th "nowhere to hide" part in mgs4,that is somewhat true. The enviorment around you will change, like lets say if u hide in this certian spot to get away from the guards everytime,it may get destroyed, moved etc
i actually like the changes so far,it may be better |

It wasn't bad, but what I meant was that I was hoping for a continuance of the MGS2 storyline.. not the romance crap, but seeing what happens with The Patriots and Snake (Although, the end did seem a bit finale.. Snake told Raiden that he should just get on with his life regardless of the existence of a force like The Patriots, but I remember that at the end of the credits or so that Snake and Ocelot continued investigating).
And MGS2 had a more modern feel, obviously. I liked Kojima's philosophy about the Information Age and how he fused it into the game.

However MGS3 was a refreshing change, simply becasue you weren't thrown with ten thousand conversations about patriot this, patriot that conspiracy conspiracy conspiracy yadda yadda. |

| MGS3 was good because it reveals many things we didnt know about the MGS history. however it is prolly the worst gameplay. i got foxhound on the 2nd go. way too easy.
if they take stealth out of the game im not biuuyning it
