How do you do it?

How do you guys beat Halo in the legendary difficulty? Of course I have beaten the game in easy and normal, and most in heroic. But I can't even pass the first level in legendary. Do you just pull all nighters nerding it up, or do I just suck?

beating halo(the first one) in legendary is ez as hell and heres how u do it

1)get a friend
2)when almost dead find a place where enemies are no where to be found(hall ways and such)
3)kill each other and revive each other
4)repeat

at least thats how me and my friends do it, as for halo 2..well u cant do that ne more since if 1 dies u have to start over in last check point. so just try not to die. and yes u do sux(jp)

its hard but i have beaten it on legendary in both halo1 and halo2.
halo1 is so much easier than 2 just u gotta use cover lots
halo2 is INSAIN IN THE MEMBRANE it took me like 2 weeks to beat that bugger on legendary.
the key is usin plasma pistol and battle rifle cause one shot to head with battle rife takes out ne elite, grunt,jackel, and brutes i aint to sure about i think its 1 or 2 shots with battle rifle have not played for a few days been hook on KOTOR2.
All in all it takes alot of time and patience and u gotta be willing to keep on tryin when u die cause u will die quit a bit

Yeah well I only own the first Halo, until after Xmas. And I find it very hard. Is KOTOR 2 starwars?

I average about 3-4 bursts to kill elites in the head on Heroic.

I was at a sleepover-birthday-party a week or so ago. We played 12 hours of LAN Cs-source and some other mods. When we got to the house, everyone slept after a few hours, but one of the guys and I played Halo 2 all night (0 hrs sleep) and beat it on Legendary without the constant respawning stuff. It was tough at hell, but he's really good.
