| Hacking Xbox Questions
What is Linux? I've heard people talking about having Linux installed on their Xbox, and I want to know what exactly it does. And what other kids of stuff can yo do with you Xbox. Can you change the skins? What all is here to do?

| Well, that is a pretty loaded question.
Linux is a operating system kinda like windows, but alot more stable and it is more command line based. Most people got it on their computer, but there are ports for the xbox.
With a modded xbox you can :
Watch downloaded movies
Listin to downloaded music
Look at pics
Play emulators(any system, even arcades[MAME])
Play xbox games off your harddrive
Make it a server (If you got linux installed)
And alot more, it really is worth it.

| yup, you sure can do that, there are a few ports for the xbox. Right now people are trying to port a open source version of windows (it isnt called windows, but its alot like windows 98 and it runs 32 bit code, .exe's), it is ported, but it doesnt support usb or anything like that, so yuo cant really do anything,.lol.
