Serious Problem with KOTOR 2

This problem has never arisen with any other game than KOTOR 2, and I'm hoping that this is not a problem restricted solely to me.

When getting into battles where multiple commands are issued to all my characters, the game will lag up, and frequently, many actions will go on while I'm waiting for my XBox to process all the information.

This never happened in KOTOR 1, nor any of my other games, and makes it extremely difficult if I'm fighting something, my health gets extremely low, and I don't know that until I'm already dead.

If there are any known problems with a particular type of CD-ROM as well, as I know there are three major manufacturers of XBoxes.

... Or if this is just something as stupid as cleaning my lens.

accually crot there is 3 manufacturers for the dvd rom, not xbox in general,there are also different manufacturers for the hdd. The three manufacturers for the dvdroms are samsung, phillips, and tompson. Samsung is the best, followed by phillips, with tompson in the rear for the worst. Tompsons are known for dirty disc errors. Ill post pics of the differences of cd tray when i get home, as i cant access them from school. Try cleaning the disc and the lense if possible. Other than that i dont know, i havent played the game personally.

The disc is perfectly immaculate. Brand spanking new game, but I think I've glanced at that chart that shows the differences briefly once before.

I've never had time to actually sit down and figure out which one mine is, but I think mine's a Samsung.

If you could please attach or send me that chart though, I'd appreciate it. I can't access anything really at this college computer myself as well.

It's really getting to the point where I can't ****ing play it though. It's laggy when I try going through all the different menus when I hit Start.

To put it into perspective for those of you that haven't had this happen to you before, think of it like playing a game on a computer that doesn't meet all the specifications, or on really high quality graphics. Your mouse is delayed in movement, and if you try moving it, or doing too many things at once, the game doesn't process all your commands.

And in the most important parts of the game, it'll temporarily freeze up, then speed up really fast afterward to catch up to where the game should be.

It's to the point where I'm ready to give up on the game if I can't find a fix for this.

I have not had these problems yet i am hoping that i dont get them 2 because its a great game but if it lags like how cort is talking then that makes me dissapointed. but so far so good

On Topic: ITs probably your CD-Rom alot of the XBX roms were made from crap ones.

If you haven't had any problems thusfar, it's gotta be my CD-ROM. It started acting up a little not too long ago, but nothing that affected gameplay this ****ing bad.
