Magnum + Plasma Rifle, or single magnum works. If I don't headshot or miss one shot with only a magnum, I have to bash or reload though, making it better when dualed with something else. Also small ammo capacity =(

i gotta give my love to the needler...i know its not that great but hear me out:

in halo i saw the needler and was like "OMGWTFPWNAGE" and then discovered how crappy it is...

then halo2 came around, i figured "meh ill try it out" and to my surprise its actually alot stronger! duel wielding needlers = pwnage on teh enemy as long as they dont have shields (like jackals) that deflect ur needles

Assault rifle is awesome but ever since i started running into the zombie-flood things that jump and come back to life, the shotgun is tied in first place.
2nd place weapon is Plasma grenade followed by Plasma rifle(pistol?. coveneant uses it- white/blue flares)

I prefer plasma rifle and SMG combo. Is the magnum really that decent? I've never used it too much.

Its goos if your accurate, it can give a good head shot. A good combo if your accurate would be Plasma Pistol + Magnum.

The Battle Rifle is my favorite, its my spear gat. My fav combo is either PP/M6C dual wielded or BR/PP if not then BR and Shotgun/Sword

When I go against Flood I like to use dual Magnum or Shotgun with Energy Sword for a secondary.
