but how about DC comics in a fighting game? no not street fighter...not king of fighters...not soul calibur(although that would be cool)...give up?

MVC was a success in it's own right.

It isn't a rip-off, crossovers have happened since the begining of the entertainment industry, because this one is a comic book publisher and that has already been done before suddenly it's "lol its a rip-off".

How am i narrow minded? I never even said it will be a rip off. I know cross overs been done over and over. It was a joke and just pointing out a a game everyone knows that is similar. I could have said lol capcom vs SNK clone or namco x capcom clone. Hell if i wanted it woudl say lol super robot war clone. Of those choices none of them would be the same as saying lol capcom vs marvel clone.
