So I'm in charge of setting up LAN gaming tournaments for a convention called TempleCon (
Welcome to TempleCon.org ) running in Providence, RI in February 1st-3rd, and while I'm gaging interest for specifically the Halo 3 events, I wanted to see if there was anything else people would like to see.
I'm not sure if anyone here from BF.com is local, but I'm in essence checking the well established online communities to see what prospective attendance for a series of major tournaments would be, so we can have a better idea of what to tell our sponsors and judge prize support. Right now we already have a bunch of events lined up, but we've got a massive amount of space, so if the interest is there, we can go even bigger.
Last year we hosted a absolutely massive Gears of War event at the con, which I would love to duplicate or exceed the success of this year.
