| Re: hellgate gaydon I got really really really ****ing bored at about the third station without some hugeass epic bossgfight.
Every thing died incredibly easy, including the brain thing in the air you gotta kill with the turrets, and the one that had the guys taht could disappear. |

| Re: hellgate gaydon It's better than D2. D2 blows. The only thing i don't like about Hellgate is that my PC lags up sometimes, it's not a bad game, but it's not great either.

| Re: hellgate gaydon It's fairly playable, really. Just the fact that any game that requires monthly payment for full content is never worth playing.

| Re: hellgate gaydon No, I'm not begging it. I'm demanding it. Try pvping in a game that's actually GOOD.

| Re: hellgate gaydon Now that I thought about it, I can think of a few things that could've been done "better"
1. More content. Definitely. And allow the first person perspective for every class in the game. Oh, and more classes wouldn't hurt.
2. Harder enemies, more memorable bosses. As opposed to the ones that seem to be splattered easily. Just because you made Diablo II, doesn't mean you need to make the game mad easy like Diablo II is.
3. De-instance-ise the world. A game run solely on instances feels incredibly shallow, and doesn't help in suspension of disbelief. Which, in turn, makes the "storyline" rather shallow.
4. Fix bugs, particularily the "slingshot" bug that causes you to warp back to the spawn point at random intervals, without any lag being present.
5. Some method of "unsticking" yourself. Sort of like most MMO's have anymore. Or at least make it a lot harder to get stuck. It does happen, and a lot. Purely by accident, too.
6. More PVP. The game play, "story" and to a lesser extent the enviroment might bring people in. But why would they stay?

| Re: hellgate gaydon Actually there's only really three types of classes. One base, and the second is the same with minor changes.
You don't seem to have even PLAYED the game.

| Re: hellgate gaydon I actually agree. One of the biggest problems with the game is the fact it's all instances. What. Were they. Thinking?! Instances work for dungeons you want lots of groups to clear, but not for a whole game.
Also, it's still a few dozen steps better than d2.
