| PS3 Firmware 2.01 Coming soon
Sony have confirmed that Firmware 2.01 will soon be released, but has not confirmed whether or not this update will include DivX support.
The primary concern to be addressed in this update appears to be the incidents of PS3 freezing, amongst other things, which have occurred since users updated to 2.00.

| Cheeze, it is basically like drivers. They are software that allows the hardware to work properly.

| Well, it was a simple Google or Wiki search. And the problem was solved.

| Well whatever, he did it for the +1 anyways. I heard the Orange Box for PS3 was bad.

| There were some issues found in reviews from people who have it and tested it.
I myself don't own a PS3, nor do I want one at the moment. However, I can't believe what others say unless I tried it myself.
For instance, I have seen bad reviews for Quest 64, but I actually liked playing it (still do).
