| Vista/360 ~(Shadowrun)~
This is a new thing they are doing with Windows Vista. Its quite amazing.
There is a game coming out later this year, hopefully, that will be able to play with either your Xbox360 or your PC.
The game is a mix of Counter Strike, Magic, and tech.
At the start of ever battle you can choose between Magic, Tech, and something else. I am not sure what Tech is but the magic is self explainatory.
The idea of putting magic and whatever the hell the other two are into a shooter is going to be awesome.
And the fact that you can play from your Xbox with people on the PC... thats just interesting.

Anyway, on the PC + Console thing, they've tried it before with Quake III and it didn't do so well. The console players were pretty much getting destroyed by the PC players the entire time, you just can't duplicated mouse + keyboard movements with a controller.
It's cool, but having to pay for XBox Live on the PC, and not caring for console shooters myself. I can say I won't be picking this one up.

| Yes, but for shadowrun they guarantee that there will be no advantages for the PC players.
How I don't know, but they said it.

| Basically Console players are going to get an auto-aim function, and PC users will receive distortion on quick turns, which I guess is a way of balancing the Console players inability to turn quickly, and inability to aim as accurately as PC users on a pixel accurate ration. | |

| I think the theory of this kind of inter-game play is very interesting. But so is communism.
Personally I think this game will do a lot better if they break the lobby down into Xbox rooms, PC rooms, and PC/Xbox rooms.
This game alone though looks to be sweet though. I believe it due later this year.

| The mouse has a unfair advantage over the console controller.
Twitch and fast turn arounds cant be done on a console.
Plus. PC users could achieve greater frame rates and use exploits more easily.
Ide like to see it end up being even. | |

| Well maybe the sensitivity will be severely dropped for PC.
I still think the Labeled rooms would be the best bet.

Mike is right. More people can put down 400 bucks on a 360 to play this game. Rather than buy a 1,000 dollar machine.

| They say it isn't how true your aim is... but how smart you are with Magic.... Plus I think PC players get a slight bit more recoil from the weapons.
So that kinda evens shit out.
I saw a clip where someone ran through a door and blocked the entrance with ice spikes. I was intrigued.
