General Gaming Guidelines

This is the General Gaming forum. The purpose of this forum is to collect all posts that otherwise have no other place. It is NOT a place to talk about counter-strike, or Mario, there are specific forums, for specific topics.

What this forum is for however, is a discussion on general gaming topics. Topics include, but are not limited to, Retro gaming, Genre, Direct comparisons or another qualms or problems you have that do not fit anywhere else. Meanings, your Sega, or your Neogeo topics are to be posted here. If you want to talk about First person shooters, or about the range of RPG styles, talk about that here. If you want a direct and unbiased comparison of say Nintendo to Sony, this is where you will put it. Want to talk about Ubisoft or how Atari isn't cool anymore, this is where you can discuss the developers, and the development process. Wanna know what makes a game great? This is where you find out.

Anything relating to Roms, ISOs and emulators can be discussed. You may link and upload emulators and roms as long as they are not commercial roms. Emulators are completely legal, as are freeware roms. Any commercial roms will be removed, and you can be warned. No site with Rom links may be linked if they violate the above rule. Asking for and publicly trading roms is not acceptable behavior. There is no excuse, and any trading threads will be removed. Keep that stuff to private messages and AIM/MSN.

Also, voice any problems you have with the gaming forums overall here, and we will get around to not only answering, but fixing anything straightaway.

The Battleforums rules are to be upheld in here at all times. We all have different opinions, and all like different types of games, but all hostility will be removed and any hostile members will be warned, as is Appropriate.
