Does anyone still play this game? I do every once in a while.

I played it a few weeks ago [Rom], but after I beat it, I kind of got bored. It always was a fun play though.

I still have the N64 Game Pak. Great game and I love flying through Area 6, still trying to beat my 503 record on Expert. Has anyone came close?

Also if you want the highest score possible - here is the path:

Corneria (Defeat Carrier) - Meteo (Warp) - Katrina (Doesnt matter the outcome) - Sector X (Defeat boss before slippy gets pwned) - MacBeth (Crash Mechbeth into the factory (HIT +50!) - Area 6 - Venom

Get the medals and do it correctly, and you get ~2000+.

Btw, is the rom version of Starfox work properly?

I haven't had a single problem with it, infact, it's one of the ones that works best on my mothers computer, which I seldom play ROMS on because of how horrible it is.

Dude, the Aqua level was tight! Hard as hell to get the required amount of kills to get the medal. Other than that...the one before Venom on hard, where it was to your advantage to shoot all the light houses, or get spotted, that was tough....and Sector X, was it? Where you had to shoot the missles before they got your ship.

Aquas was fun, going around blowing up stuff with the Blue-Marine. All you do is torpedo everythng except vertical squids, the snake fish, the mantises when they open, the shell torpedoes, the angular sub etc.

Zoness has one of the coolest soundtracks, plus its my 2nd fav level.

Sector Z was the one you had to defend the great fox from missiles. Sector X can take you there via warp. But it is suggested you go to Katina and help Bill out so he can help you open the warps.

Pfft. Area 6 was easy, all you needed was enough bombs to penetrate the mine field. That field alone gives you 90+ points at the start. If you shot charged blasts at the rockets from the Ships before the missile part, you get free kills too. And it got awesome when you got to the Aircraft Carrier regions.

Too bad there is only one path you can take to get to it.
