a great remake of the classic 1 and 2. How far can you get?

i died at the end of the last level 
i died due to a careless mistake and while i was trying to get my shit back together to get a Blue fighter, i would run into a laser, or something.
Seems like best combos are:
Blue Fighter maxed with Homing Missles maxed
and
Purple Fighter Maxed and Missles maxed
Never tried to go Red all the way trhough. I didnt really like the spread shot. I like the music a lot in this game- something Darkmatter will enjoy also, im sure.

| Last boss = tedious caek. Spent like 20 minutes holding down "z" and moving left and right.
I prefer Red w/ Homing missiles. The spread bullets cover basically the whole screen and destroys anything in my path and the homing missiles rape anything that appears behind me.

| Yeah but the red bullets aren't very concentrated and powerful against bosses . Try purple, really powerful and can still hit multiple targets. HM > missiles.

Probably would have better if I switched to blue or purple during the last boss =\

| purple is a whole lot weaker than red, and blue is stronger han red, but purple does home and it also can hit multiple targets.
I almost beat last boss but i died when i was really anxious to get a blue power up and a [P] box and a H missle box..
got hit by a friggin yellow ball of light
anyways, i really really love games like this, or any kind of airplane game for that matter.

| this was fun as hell...i just beat it i think...said mission completed after stage 8, and said "OMG U RULE" or soemthin in the bg at the end of one of the bosses, then gave me some links and "continue" but when i did that i think it just started over..
ill post my score and whatnot ina minute

| Purple is the best at ownaging, but very weak, I never liked red or blue all that much, althogh it appears blue is most powerful.
Anyway, at the end of Mission 1 (Didn't bother completing the next missions, isn't all like the same shit, just harder?)
