| Pole - Overwhelming amount of non-republicans/liberals here? I was just noticing with the Presidential heal/hurt thread that there seem to be a lot of Bush haters here. Not that I'm crazy about everything that he's done, but I don't think he should be blamed for things other presidents have preceeded the aid of what eventually became his "downfall" as a president.
Anywho... to get off track a bit, I just want to set up a poll here to see what the story is as far as forum population goes, who's what and who's of voting age and who isn't... it gives me an idea of who actually knows what's going on, who doesn't and who I'm glad can't vote.
so here we go.

| Looks like a one sided poll so far, three people voted for supporting Bush and being Republicans, I know this can't be everyone.
As for me, I put "I am a republican of voting age and I like George W. Bush", though depending on who is running next election, there is a high chance that I will be voting for a third party, so I don't really know if I count as being a 'Republican'.

| Where's the option "I'm not American, I'm old enough to vote, but I'd never vote George W. Bush even if the elections weren't rigged!"? |

| I wouldn't say that bush has been the best thing for the US,....or the world, for that matter, but iq-of-a-brick and random vacations in crawford aside, his stance on domestic policy has been better than some of the previous president's....
dont get me started on kerry.....both the candidates sucked in that race....for me it would have been nader or nothing...and thats NOT just for novelty's sake. |

| I voted that I'm a Republican of voting age and like Bush, just because there was no "I don't care" option.

Edit: and for the people who seem to say they want the "I don't care" option, there sure are a bunch of you that seem to care enough to click on the link to this thread.... as if the thread title wasn't obvious about the forums general political consensus.

| I agree, other presidents were responsible for Bush's bullshit. What was the name of the daily briefing, "Osama bin Laden Determined to Attack U.S."? Something like that. I agree, **** Clinton.

| Here's the thing Silynt...If I'm anything I'm probably a Green or a Socialist. I'm not a Social Darwinist. I want my money to help people and I don't want businesses to control everything. But I also see the logic that if you don't want to help poor people you shouldn't have to. That would be me trying to legislate my own morality. There's no right stance on politics, and by saying "who knows what's going on" you come off as a pretentious asshole. And yes I'm off voting age. And no I didn't vote for Bush in the last election. |

| How could my ideals possibly be to blame for the economy when I have absolutely no control over the economy...?
Predicting you will respond with something about Bush not being in control of the economy either. I'm not saying that's the case. I'm not the one who's implying that someone is to blame though. |
