Good movies in your opinion?

and lets keep this just all American/famous you know what I mean, none of foreign craps, just for the thread's sake and people's sake.

United States of Leland, I thought this movie was awesome, but not many people did sadly,

Matrix, first one obivously, I liked 2nd one too, but 3rd one's ending ruined it, I thought I was watching Dragonball Z in reallife mode for second.

The Matrix was boring. I saw the first one and never bothered with the last two.

Anything Tarantino or Tim Burton is most likely awesome.

Sin City, Die Hard Series, Black Hawk Down, The Lost Boys, most vampire movies, Saving Private Ryan, etc. I love action movies, I also love movies that have Bruce Willis, Christopher Walken, John Travolta, Danny Glover, and Jamie Fox in them. That's probably why I loved Ray so much. Great movie.

Oh my goodness! I thought I was the only person on the face of the earth to like 12 monkeys. Man it was good.

Anyways, Pi, and Reqiuem for a Dream (both made by the same director) were awesome, awesome, awesome. I can't stress how awesome they were. If you havn't seen them both you must watch them.

The Matrix trilogy was great. All three of them.

Spiderman and Spiderman 2 were great.

Basically anything with Ben Stiller or Will Ferrel is really funny (Dodgeball, Anchor Man)

I didn't really like Anchor Man, it was corny to me. But Dodgeball was a really great movie, I laughed when the guy sitting at the table (announcer or something like that, dont know what they are called) just talked about shit in random. Was hilarious.

And 12 Monkey's was a great movie too, it was very confusing, but good. If I could, I would watch it again. It just is never on here, so it sucks.

In no particular order:
  • Fight Club (One of the very few cult movies that is made by a significant production label)
  • Donnie Darko (The ideas were great, although I would have liked to have seen some more effort, shooting-wise, put into it... they spent only a few weeks on it, I think)
  • Pulp Fiction (Kickass film with kickass actors)
  • Vanilla Sky (Haven't seen this one on too many lists, but it's really good if you give it a try; depressing too)
  • A Clockwork Orange (A bit of the ultraviolence)
  • Equilibrium (Not a particularly deep storyline, but some great action sequences, and I liked the gun idea)
  • The Matrix (First one)
  • Monty Python's The Holy Grail (One of the best examples of Monty Python humor)
  • Enemy At The Gates (Pan would probably cream himself if he saw this)
  • Pitch Black (Just a great sci-fi flick)
  • Alien (Only #1, not any of the crap that they released afterwards)
  • Hannibal (Good with a steak dinner)
  • Gattaca (One of the most underrated films known to man)
  • The Boondock Saints (Cortalos and Static are also big fans, I think)
  • Meet Joe Black (Great storyline)
  • The Last Samurai (Yeah right, subtact 1 point from intelligence if you believed that)
  • Girl In Golden Boots (Bwa ha ha.. worst movie ever made)

The 5th element is not an American movie. OMGWTFBBQ.

And the 5th element owns. And his aunt, too.

As for my favorite movies, I loved LOTR, and I did enjoy very much the episodes 4, 5 and 6 of Star Wars (the older, not [too] exagerated ones).
