Norton Internet Security 2k5 and AIM
Norton Internet Security 2k5 blocks AIM direct connections, and ive been fiddling with it for a few days and i can't figure out how to allow AIM connections. i already have it set to Permit ALL for AIM, but it still doesnt let me connect. any suggestions?

Don't use it is my suggestion, just get Zone Alarm and disable the firewall part a there you go.

solution to the problem: go under advanced, under personal firewall, go to trojans, at the bottom of the list there should be unused windows applications/ports. click modify. and remove port 1025 from the list and it will work.
