WHat do you hate about Shooters?

the thing i hate is how some games u can jump to avoid being hit

but that makes it more complex for the game see if i couldn't jump and they could i would be piss. They can be very laggy and you can have lots of cheats.

Thats the best part. Games that don't have shotguns are considered bad FPSes. Come on, who doesn't like close range combat .

Nothing really. Besides the usual mechanics that screw up here and there, like errors with patches and that sort of thing, I love FPS's! I don't play any up to date ones though, I usually stick with AvP2 since I enjoy playing it a lot, and since my computer can't runm Half Life 2 Deathmatch. >_<

I found that game fun, since you really had to be careful and predictable about the surprise attacks both Alien and Predator can dish out. Considering, human pwn Alien, Predator pwn human, and Alien pwn anything thru element of surprise.

whats wrong with FPS's is ( and this is only the single player * with exeption to rainbow six games * ) that you are 1 guy who is somehow in a battle with some other species usually and its your job to win the war... 1 guy.... come on how about some REALITY in these games

I like shooters. I think my two favorites were goldeneye 007 and perfect dark. Both because of their awesome multiplayer modes. I loved creating specialized games in perfect dark. Heck, even fighting sims was fun. I'd set all the sims to Dark (or Perfect I forget which is harder) then give nice weapons like the laptop guns. I would then proceed to make myself a veritable fortress and fight them off.

Ohh my god! Do you guys play it a lot? I tthought I was the only perszon who played it here! If so, then we should all play sometime, maybe even right now! Ever heard of Star Wars: Battlefront? It's the vessel through which cortalos and I carry on our love affair over Xbox Live. In it you're just an average grunt, not some amazing godly soldier who can rape 300 enemy units at once. That's one of my favorite aspects of the game. Though if you're as rediculous at that game as cort is, it's as if you're a godly soldier.

Yay! That would be so cool! Do PM me if you do that! Because, honestly, I play StarCraft more then Avp@ since I never have anyone to play with on AvP2! And that majorly sucks because it's a decent shooer, even though not many people play it anymore and that sort of thing.
