Last year, the CHS administration sacrificed all trust once held with students and staff to admit a twenty-four-year-old college graduate into high school. And yet the truth was only revealed to the school when Jeremy Iversen appeared on national television to discuss his experience. The administration’s silence is understandable: in many ways, the admittance of Iversen was illegal. Documents were forged, fraudulence committed, and an entire school was lied to so that Iversen, under the pseudonym Jeremy Hughes, could attend CHS every day for almost a semester and not be considered an intruder. Iversen’s intentions, although questionable, were not criminal. Iversen has explained that his voyage back to high school was primarily for means of "research" to write a book about high school life. In an appearance on Good Day LA, Iversen said he was the envy of all of his friends for his Never Been Kissed experience. But unlike the movie, his attendance at CHS was not romantic –- it was creepy...
