| Donnie Darko I just saw it. One of the deepest, sensational, and overall best movies ever made. I've never seen a movie that could come close to Fight Club until this. Just.. beautiful. I need to buy it.

| I would have thought someone who could understand the subtle under-plot of A Clockwork Orange would enjoy something as unbelievably well-made as Donnie Darko. Try not to sleep next time.

| Quite possibly one of the better movies i've seen. Doesn't top Fight Club nor Snatch though.

| I would say it's about a notch under Fight Club for me, but considering the gap which lies between Fight Club and every other movie I've ever seen, that's pretty good. I understand it perfectly after much intense thought and mental piecing. I didn't have to watch it again because it was so captivating, there wasn't a detail I could forget. It was so intense and well-developed. I went online to discussion threads and movie reviews, and they just don't get it. They all say "Well this this this and this.. but there isn't any explanation for this" and they constantly disagree with eachother about everything. No one seems to know for some reason. Apparently I just have a knack for dissecting movies (ask Levi.. even though he can't tell you *wink**wink* ). I have to say it was a psychologically thrilling, thought provoking, mentally stimulating masterpiece.
Long story short, it ****ing roxxorz!!

| I haven't watched dd in a while, I think I am going to watch it tonight.
However I think alot of the online people know what is about, because they pretty much explain it in the commentary. |

| Sadly, I've never seen Donnie Darko. Since I know how much in love Azrael is with Fight Club, him saying that its that close probably means something.
Oh, and opium, from an artistic viewpoint, A Clockwork Orange is a lot better than Blow.. although Blow was a good movie (<3 teh Depp).

| I wanna see it :usad
I'm probably going to, next week since it'll be near my birthday and I can rent whatever I want.
On a little off-topic note: Snatch is awesome, it's about as crazy as From Dusk 'Till Dawn *luffs Tarantino*

| What exactly is Donnie Darko about?
well, since most people are sayign what their fave movie is, i must say "the crow" is my fave movie..n e 1 like Edward Scissor-hands? that movie was awesome i thought.. but both of those movies are like 10 years old.. but Fight Club, it has to be like my 3rd or 4th fave..
wtf? a killer giant rabbit? :hop

| *MOVE SPOILER*
Donnie Darko has a lot of things going on in it.. it is extremely layered. There's Donnie's inner struggles, trying to come to terms with what is going on around him, and within him.. there's the emotional issues that those around him have to come to terms with.. there are a number of issues he is trying to work out personally.. and oh yea, the world is going to end in 28 days. An extremely detailed, layered film, with a lot of twists and characterization. A lot of realism. Just remember.. everyone dies alone.
Movie Spoiler above.
