Out of any Black, Death, or Thrash metal, Which bands do you prefer? Here's my list of them:

Ect.. Ect... Ect... I listen to a wide variety of ROCK. Mostly on the "Alternative" side of things. The only stuff I don't usually listen to is the crap that MTV plays all day every day that sounds the same as the last damn song that was played all day every day the other month.

Meh.. | MTV playes music videos? Wow, that's improvement.. for them.
If you have sattelite TV, watch the Fuse station.. at least the majority of their air time is dedicated to music.. you know, that art form where people twang on strings, band on drums, and sing? Yeah. That one. =P.
My all time favorite band would have to be Marilyn Manson.. its the only group on my iPoD that has over ten songs that I like.. excluding Led Zeppelin and a few select others.

| Well I only liked acouple bands you put up there. but out of the ones up there
Cradle of Filth is my fav... you should listen to Opeth. They are sweet.

| Cradle of Filth is the best out fo that list i would say.Dimmu is ok,its interesting.
One of Cradle of FIlths best cds to me is damnation and a day.if you acctuly listen to the lyrics its a strange story.

In response to the post that started the thread...out of that list Cradle of Filth is the best. I have had limited exposure to the filth, however...all I've heard is Mannequin and Nymphetamine...and I am ADDICTED to Nymphetamine...love that f'kn song! | |

Its a taste. You can have some bands do music like this and turn it into pure crap. But some bands make it pure gold.
Opeth has a song called "Black Rose immortal" just slightly over 20 minutes. With soft vocal and death vocal it makes a nice 20 minutes spent.
