| wtf floppy :hbut i got a computer (duh) and i cant find the floppy drive i need it to run dos and to install gamesi have a dell pentinum 4 and looks black and made of metal |

| You cant see the floppy drive? Like physically. or when you put a floppy in it doesn't read it?
Also I dont think the color of your computer or the material its made of it going to affect weather you floppy drive will work

But it still contains the controller inside. You could take a floppy drive out from an old computer (it probably won't miss it) and connect it up, and when DOS is finished, disconnect it.* |

| Yea when I was gettin a new comp I looked into the Dell Dimension 2400's cuz of the cheap price I was about to get it then noticed no Floppy Drive I know nowadays no one really uses em except for school essays and stuff ... but still just having one makes me feel better lol :-D. So I gotta Sony Vaio well thats my story THE END.

| floppies suck. Go buy a USB thumb drive, they are much better than floppies, AND.... they hold a hell of alot more data. for example, my 128 mb one holds like 100x more data than floppies, and it was only $35.
And, you can always ADD a floppy drive to a computer, its not hard at all. The floppy is dead folks!! |

| i still say floppies dont suck. what if your computer wont boot and you need to boot from a floppy? wuts a flash drive going to do for you then?

| you can boot from a usb flash drive when its enabled in your bios, also boot from cd's nublet :P cd's are much more leet than nub floppies. I didnt even install a floppy on my comp when i built it.
