Hey everyone,
I just bought a Geforce 5500FX with 256MB. I updated it and everything but I still get some error when playing Knights of the Old Republic it says like Runtime C++ error and than terminates the program I don't know what to do with it. If anyone can help that would be really nice.
Have you been updating the patches? My friend owns the game and he says he doesnt have any problems with it.

Yep Iv'e updated everything, video card and game. I don't really get why it says that I tweaked with all the graphics settings and it still has that C++ Runtime error. My old intergrated intel graphics card with 64MB had the same problem except with half life 2.
Funny, cuz the site tells you to upgrade your Geforce's Forceware to 52.16

well I updated the forceware to 71.81. Still had the runtime error after playing the game for about 10 minutes. I'm still stuck but thanks for the help so far.
Apparently, its not your fault, I think it could be because SP2 is being a bitch about your game. I guess you can blame Windoze for it, wait for fixes to come out, then install them. Either that or switch to ATI Radeon cards, I won't have this problem and I am using an ATI Radeon 9600 Pro
