| I think I died twice over School swimming gala yesterday. I won 2 gold medals and one bronze. Then after that, when I was putting my socks on, I got cramp in both legs, my left arm and my foot.
*swears**

| Congrats x42, if I could swim like that I would never be poor. I would bet people money in a swimming race.
Cramps do suck, especially in the leg or gut...

| I used to get a lot of medals during my swim team years.
Good job on your medals!
Throughout my years, I learned that stretching was a BIG part of swimming.
You might think you stretch, but I don't think you do.
1. Strectch before you even get into the car or bus to where you are going.
2. Strectch before you change.
3. Strectch right before you warm up.
4. Strectch anytime BETWEEN heats.
5. And last but NOT least, stretch after you're all done. This will help you A LOT! I promise. And you have to strectch for more than 20s during the day, or its not going to help.
You're performance will also benefit.

And no, I am not fat. I just grew 6kg over the last 4-5 years.*

| Stretching is way overrated. I swim all the time and whatnot. The real trick to being fine in the water is to take a shower before(loosens the muscles) and hoppin in the warm-up pool and swimmin a few laps. That is the real secret. If you are doin HS, there is normally an intermition during the meet. |
