here is a hypothetical situation.

You are an electrician. this lady wants to find out whick switch turns on the bulb in the attic bulb. there are 3 switches. the switches are in the basement and the bulbs are in the attic, the bedroom, and the living room, so you cant see which bulbs are on from the basement. the lady is really pissy and wil only let you go upsiatrs once. how can you tell for certian which switch turn on the attic bulb?

note: there is a way to do it with no doubt as to which switch is on. and killing her is not an option.

ok. You turn one on and leave it on for 6 hours. (leave it on) and turn the next one on for 30 minutes. The first one you turned on the bulb will be hottest. the 30 mins one will be mildly hot and the third will be cold (or of course just find the wire and tear up here wall) did I get it?
