| Running out of harddrive space...ack :O Indeed...the title says it all. So, where is a good place, that I can get a rather cheap harddrive? I'm looking into possibly getting 120GB harddrive, since I need more storage for all of my multi-media files . Internal or External, I don't really care...I just need the best price.

| I'm on a 45 gig HD. I've had to burn Videos to CDs then delete them because of lack of room. Getting a new Comp with a 350 gig HD, hopefully that will last me awhile.
How much are you willing to spend and how much do you want exactly? External or Internal?
Maybe I'm thinking of something else, but you would have to use a slave to connect both of the HDs together? If it's External, if it's internal, can you motherboard support it?
Better yet, just give us your current Specs. |

Get a 120GB Western Digital Special Edition w/ 8mb Cache. They are godly, and they are all I run. They are damned cheap too, the 120gb is 80 bucks, and the 80gb is around 50. I'm running an 80 and a 120 and I'm about to get another pair of 120's.

| I've got a 40GB and I'm running out of space, however it's not my computer, although I recommended some upgrades to my grandma's comp. for XMas for herself (Let's hope she'll actually do it).

| I'm getting a new computer as I've listed earlier, I've changed some parts around and made it faster and 400 bucks cheaper (thanks for being slow, AxL <3), but I'm going to be putting a 40gb WDSE drive and an 80gb WDSE drive in my gaming rig (the one I'm building) and I'm putting a 120gb WDSE and a 250gb WDRE drive in my server. Beings all I have right now is the 120 and the 80, I could use the space

| If you're drive is like 40 Gigs, run Disk Cleanup.
Best Buy ususally has Maxtor HDs that range from 80 Gigs (I have 80) to 200 Gigs (you would really need this much if you had TOOO MUCH music or running a server PC) |

| everything is switching to SATA though, so if you wanted to stay ahead of the game... get sata drives.
Smaller cables > faster communication > more airflow > cooler pc !!! |

What the hell are you going to do with the remaining 200 gigs?
