| NationStates Now, before a moderator moves this, let me explain why I posted this here. I wanted to have the members of AS to join and see this first, so they know it exists. If you could please wait on moving this for a couple days, I will give free seks. http://www.nationstates.net
An online game where you create and manage your own country. There isn't any graphics or fighting, you just choose the type of government you desire and make decisions on different Issues. For example, This is my country.
You can either run it realistically or go crazy. Since you can make multiple countries, you can even do both. There is even a 'United Nations' to join and vote in.
Once you register (Free and fast) simply join the BattleForums Region.
It's fun. And I apologize for posting this here, but.. I love you!

| How does it determine the size of a nation? Does the population grow and shrink as you progress in the game?

| There is a steady growth of population. If I am not mistaken, some choices may help growth more than others, but I dont believe you can lose population. The emphasis is on how you want to run the government and the effects it has on your citizens.
C'mon people! Join!

| Thats a brilliant game you've showed us, lights, thanks. Here's the description of my nation. Its pretty funny, actualy, how centered I am. Here's the information on my country, and if you wish, you can describ to us info on your country, too ! he Republic of Groupiscus is a tiny, safe nation, renowned for its compulsory military service. Its compassionate, hard-working population of 5 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.
The enormous government is mainly concerned with Social Welfare, although Healthcare and Education are on the agenda. The average income tax rate is 28%. A small but healthy private sector is dominated by the Cheese Exports industry.
Crime -- especially youth-related -- is well under control. Groupiscus's national animal is the wolf and its currency is the ruble. |

| Heh, and just some advice, I would go into your settings and set the Issues to two per day. You'll see more action that way. And join the UN. Glad to see the warm reception to the game. It is pretty incredible.
Oh, and here is my country currently: Quote: The United States of Libertation is a very large, socially progressive nation, renowned for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 133 million enjoy some of the most opulent lifestyles in the region, unless they are unemployed or working-class, in which case they are variously starving to death or crippled by easily preventable diseases.
There is no government in the normal sense the word; however, a small group of community-minded individuals is effectively ruled by the Department of Law & Order, with areas such as Social Welfare and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Gambling, Information Technology, and Woodchip Exports industries.
Refugees from other nations are flocking to Libertation's border, inheritance tax has recently been abolished, scientists regularly clone human beings for research purposes, and almost half of the child population live rough on the streets. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling. Libertation's national animal is the horned toad, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the dollar. | It's pretty accurate to my ideal country. .gif)

| You think that your an intelligent person, and good debater, and cultivated, too.
Then, you visite their forums, and you dont know shit.
Anyway, for the sake of respecting the arcane sanctuary's rules, and in an effort to get as many people as possible to see this thread, for them to join our glorious region of Battleforums, I'll move this to chitchat.

Ah well, thanks for waiting on the move. 'Preciate it.
The reason why I asked was because of people like me. Had this thread been made in CC, I wouldn't've ever seen it.

| Well, its not very different from our forum, really. But there is a better ratio of good threads and debate vs spam, thats true. The main difference is that every litle bits of post and sentence is backed, coherant and eloquant, may it be pure spam, flames, argument and whatnot. It take up to two or 3 minutes to read an entire average pages. Its very anoying. .gif) |
