| It's time for the Special Interest Section to actually deserve it's own section It's the main reason why activity is so low in all of those forums.
[exaggeration] Tech Forum is getting more activity than any/all of the Special Interest forum because it's not placed under the Special Interest Section. [/exaggeration]
I will speak for a lot of people here.
I like to look at the last post of a forum before going into that forum some of the times. Me, being a regular lazy person, does not like to click on the Special Interest Section and then look at the last posts on the forum I desire.
Yeah, some of you will say that it'll just add bulky-ness to the index, but we got the collapse button we can use now since VB3.
Also, what I would like to see is the forums with a subforum(WC Map Dev.) have it be stated in the description of the forum.
EX: Quote: Map Development (X Viewing) Warcraft 3 offers an all new map editor, so take advantage of it! Ask questions about maps and editors or post your maps here!

| The thing is, BF's index is far too long as it is.....
Now that the race forums are gone, this could be a good idea, or bad. I can't really know until we try.
This is because out of the forums available in the Special Interest Section, just about every single one is dead, and I don't think it's fully attributed to the fact it's a subforum.
There is also a subforum hack that shows child forums on parents. Could be useful, but I can't find it. *

| Seeing as the 'Gaming Section' has low to no activity, I think we need to replace the SI subforum with the gaming section and bring Special Interests to the front page. |

Find it. | Collapse-what?
I think I can develop a hack for that, IMO, and into cookies.*

| It's not the main reason that activity is so low. CS was on the main page and it still got horrible traffic. If anything we should remove the special interest section.

Removing SIS is probably a good idea though, considering that my forum is holding up valiantly against the odds.
It's failing. coRt killed it.*

| The forum index is huge as it is. I think it must stay in general. It's not as if it gets traffic, anyway. |
