Speed up Firefox dramatically!

It would work a tad bid on 56k, but I doubt you would notice a large increase, seeing as 56k hsa such a small transfer rate to begin with.

Nothing to shout about, but it's pretty decent. Like x42bn6 said, it works better with multiple tabs, which help with my 4-forum simultaneous browsing.

thanks, this helps a lot, since firefox lacked this important feature... And firefox is the best browser, hands down. Low on resources, spyware resistant, and easy to nagivate. And it doesnt give the microsoft bastards money.

Oh, and don't forget about how it's not an open door to spyware/adware like my good friend internet explorer. You know you can trust something called Mozilla FireFox

yeah, definately. Spyware is getting out of hand, they need laws against it. I reformatted with win2k and used IE for 2 weeks on normal browsing, nothing high-risk. 2488 spywares detected with Ad-Aware SE. I reformatted again, and after 3 months with firefox, I got 3.

Alright, there is a problem with this patch. I had like 3 error messages appear. I clicked em and they went away, and nothing else happened, but why were they where in the first place?

No that wasn't it. I saw those. These ones said something about protocol and then jsut after i posted in this thread my whole windows went boom and i had to restart the comnputer. Maybe its because i have a bootleged windows and its crappying, maybe not.


Anyways now its all good, and i got a lan and this thing runs fast, shit it alsmot flies. Damn, maximum speed. Kaboom. Anyways thx tweak.
