Fire or Water?

If you had a choice if being burned alive or drowned... what would you choose? Why is one better or worse then the other? What goes into being killed from either method?

Personally, I'd prefer neither But if some sick man decided I had to die one way or another, I'd say fire. It only hurts for a few moments, even though it hurts REALLY bad, I won't feel as smothered before I pass out and die.

Well considering that fire would kill all of your nerves quickly with a few seconds of pure pain, but drowning would suck because you know that you could only hold air in your lungs for so long until you eventually ran out. My vote is on death by sex. But, if I really had to choose it would be by fire.

If I were still a mod, I'ld move this.

Personally, I'ld rather drown. It's a bit more peaceful and not quite as painful.

But choking you experience before the end is quiet unpleasant.

id rather drown. being burnt alive suffocates you anyways. the fire takes in all of tghe oxygen around you and you only breath in fire. not to mention the burn. if youve ever been burnt you know even a little burn hurts for a long time. bad burns hurt really bad, unless they burn out your nerves.

drowning is just suffocation and breathing in water.

I'd rather drown. You would pass out from lack of oxygen before you feel any 'real' discomfort.

Both of those would be such horrible ways to die o_O I imagine fire would be agony up until the point you died, whereas drowning would be mostly just terrifying rather than painful. I guess I'd go with drowning, though I'm not really sure why....I guess I'm just less afraid of that than I am of excruciating pain, and it seems like death by drowning would be easier to accept as it was happening (i.e. you could just not hold your breath and get it over with more quickly).

But ideally, if someone was going to kill me, I would want them to drop me out of a plane without a parachute. That way I could at least have fun on the way down and try to take out a house or a small child or something when I landed

Fire, because It would generally be a darker form of death then drownding. I'd rather burn to death in a hellish infenro then drown at the bottom of the sea.

fire because i'm a pyro and i wana be like "oh so this is what i been doing to those poor animals when i was 13... i deserve to die" and it would be cool to be engulfed in flames... not sure why but i'm sure it would be cool.

dont try so hard to be "dark". realistically drowning at the bottom of the ocean would be much darker. 1. fire emitts large amounts of light 2. no light reaches the bottom of the ocean 3. water absorbs light, not gives it off
4. water is a cool color in hue, fire is a hot color. cool colors are darker than hot ones.

while drowning would be much more pleasant and calming(provided you wereng stressing and flipping out), i would rather burn. wether i would choose that because of hydrophobia, pyrophilia, ignorance, stupidity, the insatiable desire to scream inhumanly, masochism, boredom, or any other reason, i dont know. i just think i probably would.

Why not? Yes, it would emit less light as far as that goes, but fire generally signals evil, while water usually does not. Fire is red, ight? Red and Black are my colors. Blue is not.

Fire. It makes you seem week if you die due to water. OWNED BY WATER just doesn't cut it.
