| Laptop wont come on Let me start off by saying its nothing internal such as a virus, spyware, whatever; and it's not broken as in I dropped it or something (it just sits on my desk).
No the power isn't out.
It also isn't mine, so that makes it worse.
Dell Inspiron 8200, heres what happened:
I start her up, then almost immediately run d2. Everythings going just fine. Join a baal game, and the computer just shuts off. Won't turn back on, or even make the right noise. Would spraying some compressed air on it help at all? |

| Is the light still on? Or did it just shut down, as in turn off and is not receiving power? My suggestion is to try opening it up and cleaning all the parts with rubbing alchohol, that helps with my notebook.

| You press the on button and the lights come on, pause, its make a beep noise, then the lights go off an nothing happens. As soon as I can find a small enough screw driver I'll clean it |

| It could possibly be a faulty PSU. However I have no experiance with notebooks except for messing around with my sisters laptop. |

| Its plugged in, but I really do not think it is a power issue, especially since all the power lights are on. I won't be able to get a screw driver till 7ish, but I will be going out so I won't get a chance to even attempt to fix it till 10-12 ><
-EDIT-
i got the screw driver earlier than i thought, and after thinking i thought that it could be a battery problem. Not as much as its dead as much as there is something wrong with it. The beep came from it after all
