first off, CALM THE **** DOWN!!!!!!!

now, after you have done that...

if you have a router, you will need to connect to it via webadmin.

http://192.168.1.1/

login if you have a login and go to "application and gaming' or something to that extent. Now, forward the port to your computer's ip (192.168.1.x) and there you just opened a port. if you dont know what a proxy is, chances are you probably aren't using one unless someone else set up your network / internet.

a proxy is an annonymous computer set up to mask your ip. you connect thought it by changing your internet settings ( in your browser).

Do you even have a router?!

This is the time when GAHEADGA attempted to help someone.

You can find out if you are behind a proxy when your host IP and outgoing IP are different. No idea how to find out though.

You can tell if you're using a proxy by checking your Internet Options. For Internet Explorer, go to tools > internet options > connections > LAN settings. For FireFox, > tools > options > general > connection settings.

If you can't host games on B.net, it's possible that it's because of your router. Log into your webadmin and open a port... which I don't remember.
