| Hacking... I was just wondering, how many people here could be considered as "hackers".
What's your opinion about hacking?
Did you ever hack a computer?
Did you ever deface a website?
Coded malicious stuff?
What's the worst thing you did?
Personally I hacked some computers for fun (hacking doesn't mean ****ing them up, hacking means entering a system without the user being aware, lookin at some stuff and leaving), and not only fun... I hacked a kid in my class once to frighten him lol, I defaced 2 or 3 sites (only 1 of them was important, and is still defaced lol) and I coded a worm that infected half latin-america... nothing else

| Well, that's cool. I've hacked one computer, but it was my neighbor's and I didn't do anything, just looked at some stuff, nothing good there so I left. What's your opinion about hacking? I think hackers that mess up computers are horrible, but the computer I hacked wasn't that bad. Did you ever hack a computer? Yes. Did you ever deface a website? No. Coded malicious stuff? No. What's the worst thing you did? Just looked at their stuff.

| I've done non of that stuff, my opinion on it: Not really too much of a problem (for me anyway) a lot of the malicious stuff I hate though. I'd rather have people hack me than all this ad ware.
Edit: Is it allowed for people to PM eachother links to that ****. I would like to find more about it, just to understand it better and maybe try it a few times ect.

| Well I don't know the answer to your question, but maybe you should try it sometimes...It's fun, but just don't do anything that bad.

| Yeah well, I'm not a real hacker, I just got into their system through my wireless router because they have one also, I just stole off their feed, I got a faster connection and I could view all of their files. So I'm not a real hacker I guess.

| I was banned from www.renderosity.com for "hacking" the site because I pointed out flaws in some of their scripts. I don't actually know anything about hacking though, just some general security things to keep in mind when making a webpage.

| What's your opinion about hacking? Well, it depends. If you read 2600 The Hacker Quartery, you would agree...
Did you ever hack a computer? nope
Did you ever deface a website? wanted to, but no...
Coded malicious stuff? you guessed it, no
What's the worst thing you did? Copied games from one PC to another (Serious Sam, SS: Second Encounter, KOTOR, Quake 3, Unreal Tournament 1/3, Postal 2 and Morrowind...)

| i've done about all of that. mainly to gain access to files i need. But no real big secret files, only ones that are needed which i am locked out of the computer for. Like school computers, sometimes you need to transfer files over the network but the network administrator wont let you, so you just bypass thier filters and get it anyway.
I used to do huge trojan things about a year ago, and infected probably 3,000 people. Got alot of d2 stuff that way. |

| I used to be gay and use trojans back when I was young and stupid, but I have realized nothing good comes from ****ing other peoples stuff up.
I have defaced a couple of websites, but that was for good reason :P
I have made a trojan or two and a few game hacks, and ummm that tis about it. |

No, but I broke my school's firewall once.
No, I don't know how.
No, how the hell do I?
Broke my school's firewall, changed some setting and screwed up our entire Internet, on someone else's account. Also overrode Administrator password and found this IP tracking utility to install so I could monitor passwords. Uninstalled it later. |
