| GErbils!
WHo has a gerbil???
if so, how about some advice for a newb who has a plastic tank w/ wheel, solarium, water bottle, plastic bowl, 5 lb of corn cob, 2lb of aspen, and a toilet paper roll.

| I used to have a hampster, but I left it out in the sun for too long and it died.
Umm, just set up the water bottle inside the tank, and refill the food every time it gets about empty (use pre-mixed food). Clean the cage every week or two, and don't leave it out in the sun too long! Lol...

| I had two male gerbils along time ago...and they use to fight like crazy...ended up having to get them seperate cages. So yeah, get two females.

I would not recommend getting 1 of each...it's way too hard to take care of them all. Get either 2 females, or 1 male.

| i once put my gerbil in tin foil when i was little put it in the microwave and it blew up.....
and another time i put my gerbil in the dryer because he was wet (also when i was little) and he again blew up...
and both times i cried like crazy and my parents were like "Honey we'll get u another one..."

i dunno if they are fem or male and i can grab them, they are frisky.
whan i bought htem there were 5 cages, 4 were labeled male the other was not labeled and some teenager said that they wont be mixed up so they might be female.
uh oh.
what are some goodn ames for gerbils?
