What do you get when you combine your favorite anime with some hard rock / heavy metal? (No, not Hentai).

You get some damn sweet music videos! I've been watching AMV's for a long time, and they've definetly been one of my major hobbies since I logged onto the internet; at first, they weren't horribly popular, but when people saw a combination of Trigun and Disturbed, the craze skyrocketed.

Oh, and I'm not talking about that crap you can download from Kazaa (Low resolution Dragon Ball Z music videos to some Linkin Park song, sound familiar?). If you want to get a taste of the good stuff, go to some of these sites:

Kusoyaro is pretty famous in the AMV field. If you like FLCL and wierd anime, he's your man.

AMV.org is a basically a site where a lot of AMV makers post their stuff, including the people I've mentioned above.

You're right, the good AMVs (ie the ones that are good quality and don't involve Dragonball Z) are awesome. A large portion of my time is spent downloading and watching them. I hadn't heard of any of those sites before (except for AMV.org), I'll check them out later ^_^

I've seen a couple when my sis (cxoli) downloads them. They're pretty cool, but I don't like the DBZ ones.

I downloaded a Cradle of Filth music video once, and it was anime. (I didn't know).

It was sexy as hell. ^^;

Windows Movie Maker was the first editor I dabbled in, but then I moved on to Adobe Premiere 6.5. It's a lot better, trust me.

I actually made a music video for a project at school. We had to do something about "The Red Badge Of Courage" and me and some buds made a music video about the novel's theme of death. We used the song "Dont Fear The Reaper" with footage from Gladiator, The Matrix, Saving Private Ryan, Romeo & Juliet (To sync with the song :sly ), and others. We got massive points :P.
