Why so many of these. No offense but if people just keep making new ones they should just make one big section of band lists.

Melodic Death Metal. Don't let the Death Metal part confuse you into thinking it is all RRRRRRAAAAAARRRRR cause it's not.

A lot of the songs have this brilliant contrast between two different voices.. one is the "RaaR" voice, and the other is a more mellow, melodic "Laaa" voice.. if that explains it -_-.

I love this band.. Overload is my favorite song so far. Some of them are kinda boring / uninspired, but hey, all bands have those kind of songs =P.

Except for maybe the Beatles.

I am the walrus.

Heh, thats a decent way to explain it. Mine is this: If you can take out the vocals, and still have a fully balanced song just with the instrumentals, it is considered melodic. Melodic is basically a mixture between classical and metal.

Overload and Strangler are my two favorites. Their songs are annoying to get from Kazaa.. not too many people have enough taste to listen to them.

I brought a new mix CD to the weight training room, and I put Overload as the first song, and about half the class liked it. The ones who didn't like were vaginas who like to lift to $hitty hip hop music. Im serious..

If you like these guys, you might like Nightwish. Their not as heavy as Soilwork, but they use a combination of Opera-ish singing and heavy metal.
