Internet Explorer Question

I know this doesnt belong in this forum but i firure ill get the best answer here... I use Internet Explorer to use the internet, i have cable internet and heres the problem. When i try to download anything threw internet explorer it wont dl.. For Example: I tried u dl Starfish's Spamball. what happened it internet explorer opened a new window but nothing happened it didnt bring up the download prompt.. i have tried other sites as well so i know it wasnt the site... i have also tride to right click on the file and save target as... but that doesnt work either... anyways its really pissing me off and i hope someone here knows what the problem is.

rather than try and fix the problem (which is probably due to some privacy or security setting) - I recommend switching to a decent browser.

But, if thats not an option, check the privacy and security settings as I've said (I don't feel like checking, doing so would require me to run IE - but I'm fairly sure there's some options regarding the ability to download files in there)

yeah your probably screwed with your interent settings... so the file IS downloading.. its just downloading into a temp folder somewhere.... or something else i dunno.

or just not downloading...

my recommendation is Mozilla (Firebird), though opera is good as well.

I use IE just fine. What does Opera, or Firebird offer that IE doesn't?
