Robert Downey Jr. said that he's got a pretty small part midway through the new Hulk movie, and it's more or less him meeting with the military.

Though who knows. I can't see them realistically doing an Avengers movie though anytime soon. Hell, the FX on Ironman cost them something like 40million alone, and the FX on Hulk cost them a bit more. Just for those two characters and their respected baddies. Theres no way in hell there gonna throw Cap, Thor, Pym and Hawkeye in there, and have a galactic threat (Rumors are that if it does get made that The Hood will be the villian) and keep it under a 300million dollar FX budget. Then theres all the money it costs to actually shoot, produce, edit, finish the movie, and pay all the staff and actors.

Re: Iron Man

The cast alone for an avengers movie would be a huge amount to pay.

Expecially if they wanna keep the same people. Although Sam Jackson doesn't care about money and does movies he likes the script for relativly cheap (Black Snake Moan only got him like 500grand, SOAP was something like 750, but movies like The Negotiator netted him a few million) so that takes a good chunk out right there.

Re: Iron Man

Mostly I'm thinking Edward Norton. Good actor, just what I hear is he's a prick enough to not be hulk in an Avengers movie unless they blow the budget on him or write the story around him or something like that.

Re: Iron Man

Well, the way he probably looks at it, is he's taking home a large portion of money based on Ironman anyway. It is, afterall his "redemption" movie. He'll probably be in movies left and right in the upcomming years.

Norton rewrote the Hulk script, he definitely likes his character.

@Mike: Jackson was always going to play Fury. Fury was loosely based on Jackson.

Actually, Ult Fury was to be the 'opposite' look of 616 Fury, so they decided on a Bald Blackman and the first designs of it were vastly different, but Sam Jackson expressed interest in playing the character (as he enjoyed how badass the 616 was while growing up reading him) when he heard that the ult version would be black. So then they changed his design to look similar to him.

But sure, close enough.

And he rewrote the script for American History X to give himself more screen time, which is the **** I'm worried about.

lawl use the real ult one

Ultimate Nick Fury - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

When Nick Fury first made his appearance in the Ultimate Universe, despite being African-American, he had a vastly different design and was characterizated much more in the James Bond mold of super-spy. The more familiar Samuel L. Jackson inspired design didn't appear until Nick Fury resurfaced in the Ultimates.

Trust me when I tell you that I know my comics.

He was asked to do the final draft of both by the directors for anything he thinks should be included or expaned/shortened. AHX turned out to be an amazing movie, and I'm sure the new Hulk movie will be as well, so what the problem?
